In my role as the developer for the H2-DEIA website, I employed WordPress with Elementor Pro to meticulously craft the platform. Significantly, I integrated custom code within the HTML widget to lend the site a distinctive character, optimizing both its functionality and visual appeal.
Given H2-DEIA’s global affiliations, including partnerships with esteemed entities such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the World Bank, the website experiences a substantial volume of international traffic. To cater to this diverse audience, I implemented the TranslatePress plugin, facilitating a translation/language selector feature on the site.
Furthermore, I incorporated numerous bespoke elements through custom coding to elevate the site’s aesthetics and user experience. These enhancements include sophisticated animations, such as the seamless header transition upon scrolling, the nuanced appearance of the DEIA lettering when hovering over the sections within the “Who We Are” segment, and the smooth fade-in and fade-out effects during page transitions. These refinements were strategically integrated to ensure the website exudes a polished and professional demeanor, aligning seamlessly with H2-DEIA’s commitment to clean energy and their advocacy for professionals in the field.
